Francesca is the Founder and Managing Director of Casa Londra. She serves as a solicitor and Head of the Italian Desk at Child & Child, an English law firm specialising in property law.

After completing her law degree in Genoa, Francesca moved to London in 1995, where she undertook a two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Law at the College of Law and qualified as a UK solicitor focusing on corporate finance and banking law.

In 1997, Francesca joined the American law firm Coudert Brothers, assisting Italian clients with commercial matters, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. Notably, she supported MTS Spa, the electronic trading platform for European government bonds, in incorporating its English subsidiary, Euromts Ltd. In 1999, she relocated to Paris, where she spent a year at Coudert Brothers’ French office, continuing her work with MTS Spa to incorporate its French subsidiary, MTS France.

From 2002 to 2005, Francesca worked as Legal Counsel for MTS Spa in Milan, handling various corporate, financial, and commercial matters.

She also qualified as an Italian lawyer (avvocato) during this time. In 2005, she returned to London, where she was appointed General Counsel for Earls Court & Olympia, two of Central London’s major exhibition centres. Her responsibilities included managing commercial leases, employment matters, venue hire agreements, and other legal issues. In 2010, she coordinated the sale of the Earls Court Exhibition Centre to Capital & Counties Properties/Liberty International.

Since 2011, Francesca has concentrated on the London residential property market, working as a property solicitor who advises individual overseas investors, developers, lenders, and banks. She assists clients with property acquisitions and sales, mortgage applications, bridging loans, refinancing, lease extensions, and licenses for alterations.

In addition to her legal work, Francesca recognised a growing need to assist her Italian clients investing in the London property market with various pre- and post-acquisition services, including property searches, refurbishment, interior design, management, and lettings. This realisation led her to establish Casa Londra, initially starting from her home in Fulham with the help of some friends, now her business’s partners.

Today, Casa Londra manages a portfolio of over 300 properties, primarily located in Chelsea and Kensington. In 2017, she opened the Casa Londra Shop, a showroom for refurbishment and interior design services located at 310 Old Brompton Road. Francesca’s dual roles at Casa Londra and Child & Child are highly complementary. Thanks to her comprehensive service, investing in London property alongside Francesca provides clients with complete confidence.

Additionally, Francesca serves as President and Trustee of the Fondazione Francesca Rava—NPH UK, an international charity that supports disadvantaged children in Haiti and nine other Latin American countries. She regularly organises fundraising events in London and volunteers at the NPH Campus in Haiti each summer.

In 2018, Mayor Marco Bucci appointed her the International Ambassador for Genoa. Despite leaving her hometown over 25 years ago, Liguria remains close to her heart. Francesca enjoys escaping to Santa Margherita Ligure in her free time with her three children.
